Company Visits & Field Trips

BEST also includes company visits to the facilities of major business players, a visit to the Düsseldorf branch of the German Federal Bank, and field trips within the industrial and cultural vicinity.

In recent years, BEST has organized visits (amongst others) to ALDI (one of the largest German grocery retailers), Vodafone (telecommunication), König-Pilsener (brewery), and Aero Cargo (Dusseldorf International Airport). Field trips make up an important plan of our Academy schedule and enrich the extra-curricular time for our BEST students.

In the past, BEST was able to offer excursions to Zeche Zollverein (former coal mine), Müngstener Bridge (highest steel railroad bridge in Germany), Schlossburg (Medieval Castle in Solingen), Schwebebahn in Wuppertal (suspension railway), the birthplace of Friedrich Engels in Wuppertal, the famous cathedral in Neviges, Landscape Park North (industrial sight in Duisburg) and water skiing park Wedau.
